# BrainFlow AI — Full Documentation

## How it works

1. A user CCs or forwards an email thread to their BrainFlow address (assistant@yourcompany.brain-flow.ai).
2. BrainFlow reads the thread and extracts what was decided, promised, shipped, and slipped —
   every extracted point is linked to the source email (source attribution on every answer).
3. Users ask questions by replying in the email thread or in a chatbot interface
   (e.g. "what did the client agree to on pricing?"). Answers arrive by email or in chat,
   each with a link to the exact source message.
4. Misalignment detection: when a date, price, or term in a thread contradicts an earlier
   agreement in a thread BrainFlow has read, it sends a private alert to the person who
   CC'd it — before the client notices.
5. Smart draft preparation and AI search across everything BrainFlow has read.

There is nothing to install and no new app for the team to adopt: setup is adding one
address in CC or forward, and it works with any email client (Gmail, Outlook,
Microsoft 365, Apple Mail, and every other client). Automatic forwarding can be
configured with Gmail filters, Outlook rules, or Apple Mail / iCloud Mail rules.

company memory in natural language:

## What BrainFlow is not

- It does not record or transcribe meetings and does not join calls.
- It is not project-management software (no tasks, Kanban, or OKRs).
- It is not a meeting notetaker; it works from email, where client and vendor work happens.
- It is not an HR performance-management platform.
